M+Y House

This house is designed for one family where his son just got married and live together. The programs include a large living room, kitchen, dining room, master bedroom, guest bedroom on the first floor, living room, master bedroom and 2 kids bedroom on the second floor. The main concept of this house is to provide privacy for each family on each floor. We made an industrial natural look from the outside with a combination of exposed concrete, steel, wood, and black color. The façade form itself creates a shape of an elongated box with a tilted axis on its sidelined with wooden elements. The building itself is dominated by large window openings to maximize light entering the house. Besides that, we put a large void in the middle of the building with large windows to get maximum lighting and airflow in every room in this building.
